WebShare Privacy Policy

WebShare collects and stores your email address solely for the purpose of creating and managing your WebShare account. Your email is used only for authentication, account recovery, and essential service communication.

WebShare does not collect your browsing history, and does not track you around the web.

Sharing by email

When you share a link, WebShare builds an email containing the title, image, and your note, then sends it directly to your recipient. There is no separate page it lives on — the email itself is the whole share, and nothing about what you shared is kept afterward.

The email can be forwarded like any other email. WebShare has no control over that once it's sent, so please do not put anything in a note that you would not want passed along.

WebShare does not store who you sent a share to. The recipient's email address is used once, to send that one message, and is not saved afterward.

Your own email address does appear in the message, as a "reply to" link so the person you sent it to can write back — the email is sent from WebShare's own address rather than yours, so this is how your recipient reaches you directly.

If you use Send Image, the images you upload are stored on our servers and associated with your account. You can view or delete any of your uploaded images at any time from the "View / delete my uploaded images" page, or delete all of them at once (along with your account) using "Delete My Data" in the menu.

You may not use Send Image to upload sexual content, content depicting anyone without their consent, content involving minors, or anything else illegal. Violations may result in the image being removed and your account being revoked.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties, and your data is never used for advertising.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support at: clark@clarkapps.com.
