Major browsers have stripped link-sharing via email down to the bare minimum: a plain link dropped into your email client. No subject. No clickable title. No image. WebShare restores these features and more!
The WebShare Edge and Chrome Browser Extension adds a simple, fast way to launch WebShare directly from any page. On Windows, you can right‑click a page, link, or selected text to open WebShare with the content already prepared for sharing.
On Android, WebShare is available directly through the Edge Extensions menu. With just a few taps, you can open WebShare from any page and send content instantly.
The extension is not yet publicly available on the iOS App Store, but you can install and use it right now using Microsoft Edge on your iPhone or iPad:

Note: You can still use WebShare as a regular web app on any browser by manually copying the URL into the WebShare field.
When you share a link, WebShare first tries to find an image on the page. If no image is found or accessible, WebShare takes a screenshot of the page to include in the email.
Note: Some websites block access to their images from outside domains. This is true of all articles hosted by MSN.com. When an article from MSN.com is shared, WebShare will take a screenshot of the page since the image is not accessible.
Every WebShareArt image is a unique, original piece of abstract art generated by WebShare. No two are alike. You choose from three distinct WebShareArt images to send. Or, click on "Generate three new images" to get a fresh set to choose from.
Subtle feature: The art's color tone is influenced by the time of day. Morning will be the lightest colors, afternoon a bit darker, and evening the darkest colors.
Example WebShareArt choices (mid-afternoon colors).
